Papilio Early Learning Centre at North Strathfield employs highly qualified and experienced staff with a passion for making a difference in children's lives. It's this love of the industry which enables our North Strathfield childcare staff to take pride in maintaining a warm, safe, nurturing and stimulating environment for children of all ages. As a parent of a child at Papilio North Strathfield, you can feel relaxed and confident that both you and your child will be supported throughout their exciting early years journey.

Whether your child is attending nursery day care, toddler child care, our preschool program, or any other program we offer, our goal is to give your child the skills to set them up for their future school life and beyond. As part of our healthy children program, we incorporate a Chinese bilingual program into our weekly routine which provides children with the opportunity to learn another language, thereby encouraging their development and helping the children to become adaptable, fast paced learners.

What makes you passionate about working in childcare? I am passionate about working with the children and being able to help them gain as much knowledge as they can. I believe that the early years are the most vital and precious time for all children to learn and grow. I take pride in guiding the children to give each child the best possible start to their life through education. I enjoy inspiring the children to explore, learn and discover whilst building relationships with the children and creating memorable chapters in their life.

What is the funniest or most memorable moment you can share from working in childcare? The most memorable and fulfilling moments that I can share is graduating my young children that I had the pleasure of transitioning to each room starting from the nursery room. Through this time, I felt happy and proud each year as I was able to see the children grow and develop. It gives me great satisfaction to see how the children progressed, especially during ‘milestone’ moments, and it is wonderful to celebrate their achievements together with the families.

What makes you passionate about working in childcare? My love for the children makes me passionate about working in childcare. My passion for the childcare industry began after I stayed home to look after my two little kids when I migrated from New Zealand. After spending the best quality time with my children it made me realise I wanted to have an impact on young children’s lives and help them to grow and learn.

What is the funniest or most memorable moment you can share from working in childcare? It's a proud moment to see our children grow and go to big school and knowing the fact they still remember you when they see you outside of the centre.

Why do you believe your centre is an excellent choice for parents seeking the best childcare? We have highly qualified and trained staff who provide children with passion to make a difference in their lives. Our goal is to embrace the different cultural beliefs, practices and needs of our families in order to create a collective sense of belonging environment. We take pride in our school readiness program to ensure our children are equipped with the essential learning, social and emotional well being which supports their transition to a positive start in school.
